Nia Long Expecting 2nd Child With Ime Udoka.

Actress Nia Long, 40, and NBA baller Ime Udoka, 33, released a statement to People.com announcing they are expecting their first child together this fall.

The couple confirmed to People saying:

“This is the most exciting time in our lives,” Long and Udoka tell PEOPLE in a statement. “Words can’t explain how thrilled we are by the new addition to our family. We feel truly blessed and appreciate all the well wishes and prayers.”

Earlier this week, BET’s Clay Cane reported the pregnancy story and released some photos (below) of Nia showing off a baby bump in a bikini while vacationing in Cabo.

Nia Long already has a son Massai, 10, from a previous relationship, while this will be Udoka’s first child.

Ime Udoka has played professional basketball with several teams since getting drafted in 2000.

In 2007, Udoka signed a contract with the San Antonio Spurs. Following the 2009 season, Udoka became a free agent, eventually re-signing with the Trail Blazers. He was waived by the Blazers on October 22, 2009.

On November 4, 2009, Udoka signed with the Sacramento Kings. On November 24, 2010, Udoka rejoined the San Antonio Spurs,but he was waived on January 5, 2011.

At this current time, Udoka is looking for another team to sign with and keep focus on his 1st child.

  1. I learned that some people are not happy in themselves, but learn to portray otherwise in the media. I once served Nia Long. She was nasty, didn’t even look at me nor say “thank you.” I was and am not a groupie. I treat all people with the same courtesy, because I don’t look at labels. So I still wish her the best and may God bless her.
