R@B singer/actor Ray J released a statement addressing the untimely passing of his close friend Whitney Houston and the “emptiness” he’s feeling at this time.

Ray J said:
“Over the past few days I’ve tried to process the emptiness that I am experiencing,” Ray J’s statement reads. “What my heart feels cannot be expressed in words. The world lost an icon, but I lost my close friend. Nippy, I miss you so much! You were so happy and full of love. Your smile will live in my heart forever.”
Just days before Whitney’s death, ray spoke with Theinsider.com’s Kevin Frazier about his relationship with Whitney Houston and his new book titled, “Death of the Cheating Man: What Every Woman Must Know About Men Who Stray.”
