Like we said before, sometimes when it rains it pours.
First, Chad Johnson gets arrested for domestic violence, next, he loses his NFL job over it, then he loses his VH1 reality show. If that wasn’t enough heartache and embarrassment, now the team airs a viral video of him getting fired.
Geesh, it feels like we are watching Chad Johnson’s reality show after all.
Here’s the behind-the-scenes footage of Miami Dolphins Head Coach Joe Philbin calling Chad Johnson into his office and basically telling him he’s done.
It just so happens the Miami Dolphins are currently filming a documentary called “Hard Knocks, and Johnson’s domestic arrest and firing was featured in this week’s episode.

It’s amazing to actually witness one of these conversations take place and just how delicately Philbin lets Johnson down. Never does he tell Johnson “I’m cutting you” or “you’re gone” but rather he tells Johnson that he’s a good person and “I don’t see the mesh right now.”
You can see it in Johnson’s eyes that his career is on the line as he pleads to stay in the Dolphins program.
Philbin finally gets down to business in the most unassuming way possible and tells Chad Johnson “I think it’s best for both of us that we kinda part ways at this point in time.” This is as real as it gets, and it’s why Hard Knocks continues to be at the top of the sports documentary field.
