In case you missed it last night, Jamaica’s Elaine became the fastest women in the world by ending fellow Jamaican Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce’s bid for her third Olympic Gold on Saturday as she won the women’s 100-meter gold medal in Rio.

Thompson won the gold medal by clocking in a time of 10.71 seconds, with American Tori Bowie finishing second in 10.83 and Fraser-Pryce coming in third.
