Meet Erika Harrison, wife of former NFL star Rodney Harrison. Erika and Rodney met at Western Illinois University.
Rodney says, “I met her at Western and had a mad crush on her. I’d follow her around, but she was seeing someone. One day we were walking to biology, and I said, ‘You know class is canceled today.’ I just said it for fun. So she went back to her room and missed it. Turns out we had a pop quiz that day, so she couldn’t stand me for the longest time. But I was persistent, and eventually she opened her heart and the rest is history”.
The couple has two sons, Christian and Rodney Jr., and a daughter, Mikala.

During Rodney Harrison’s NFL career, he has played for the San Diego Chargers and New England Patriots. On June 3rd, 2009, Harrison announced his retirement from football to become an analyst for NBC Sports’ Football Night in America.
