Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson is expected to be in court today and might even testify in the trial William Balfour, the man accused of killing three of her family members.
Hudson will be allowed to avoid media coverage by being escorted through the back of the Cook County Courthouse.
William Balfour is accused of gunning down Hudson’s mother and her brother in the family home in October of 2008 – and then also killing Hudson’s nephew.
Prosecutors said Balfour became enraged when he saw balloons and flowers to Julia from another man.
They also said Balfour threatened to kill Julia and her family over two dozen times over the course of their relationship “if she ever left him. (Source)
