Theballerlife.com has learned that one of R&B singer Keyshia Cole’s biggest fans got a surprise of her life time during a concert at the Warner Theatre in Washington, DC over the weekend.
During a segment of Cole’s concert this past Saturday, a guy in the audience decided it would be a good time to propose to his long time girlfriend on stage.
Before popping the big question live on the stage in front of thousands of screaming fans, the man grabbed the mic and told Keyshia:
“Her birthday is coming up in a couple of days and you are her favorite artist. She loves you. We have two beautiful kids and she’s always got my back. Always. She followed my career. Put her career on hold and let me follow my dreams, so it’s only right that right now… [gets on one knee to propose.]
The woman said “yes,” and then Keyshia kindly serenaded them with the song “I Choose You,” as the newly engaged couple remained on stage and slow danced throughout the performance.
