Meet Jeniva Barrett Samuels, wife of NFL star Asante Samuels.
Jeniva and Asante dated for three years before he proposed in Las Vegas back in April 2009, following a boxing match.
The couple married on June 26th ,2012 . Their wedding was a lavender affair, held at the Mandarin Oriental, Miami, Florida.
On the day of the wedding, Asante gifted Jeniva with a new Range Rover, and she gave him a booklet of boudoir-style portraits taken of her wearing his jersey.
Currently, Asante Samuel plays for the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons. He played college football for the University of Central Florida (UCF), and was drafted by the New England Patriots in the fourth round of the 2003 NFL Draft.
Samuels won two Super Bowl rings with the New England Patriots and has reached the postseason eight of his first nine seasons in the NFL. He also played for the Philadelphia Eagles for four seasons.
