Meet Ashley Lillian Moss, girlfriend of NFL star Richard Sherman.
We do not know much about Ashley or how these two first met, but we do know they have been spotted out together for over a year at different outings, charity events and more.
Also, Ashley has been spotted in the stands and on the field with Richard and his immediate family during football games.
This past Christmas, Ashley and Richard woke up early in the morning and gave back to their community by giving out gifts to underprivileged families in need.
As you probably already know, Richard has been in the news spotlight these last couple days for his “classic” post game interview with reporter Erin Andrews, when he called out his opponent Michael Crabtree after his team the Seattle Seahawks beat the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship on 1/19/14.
In case you missed that interview, you can check it out below.
Sherman has received a lot hatred, criticism and ugly racist slurs from people around the country about this interview.
Some people even had the nerve to call him a thug and even the “N-word” on social media.
However, most of the people spewing this hate on social media towards Sherman, have no clue about his character, his background and what he does off-the-field for his community.
Some of the things these social media folks may not know is…
Richard gives back to his community every chance he gets with his charity. Also, he routinely visits children’s hospitals and many schools throughout the year speaking to young kids.
In high school, Richard was a scholar-athlete, who was Salutatorian (ranked second) in his class with a 4.2 GPA.
After high school, he attended the prestigious Stanford University on a scholarship and graduated in 2010 with a degree in Communication.
In his final year of eligibility at Stanford, Sherman returned to school to begin his Masters degree.
Sherman was selected in the 5th round by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2011 NFL Draft.
Since playing with the Seahawks, Richard has been selected 2 times as a First-team All-Pro (2012, 2013).
In two weeks, Sherman and his Seahawk teammates will be taking the field again looking to win a 2014 Superbowl.
