Meet Grete Sadeiko, the new girlfriend of NFL star Robert Griffin III.
After the story broke about Griffin’s new girlfriend Grete Sadeiko, the pair have decided to go public with their relationship.
We can’t confirm how Robert And Grete first met, but a source close to Griffin’s soon-to-be ex-wife Rebecca Liddicoat, revealed that the NFL star first came in contact with Sadeiko via Instagram back in January 2016. Sources say Robert and his wife have been separated for several months leading up to their divorce.
According to reports, Griffin filed for divorce on August 17th, 2016, which blind sided his college sweetheart and wife of 3 years Rebecca. According to TMZ, a close source said Rebecca was still working on saving the couple’s marriage up until the news broke on Sadeiko.
Griffin began dating Rebecca Liddicoat in 2009, and the two were married on July 6th, 2013. Rebecca gave birth to Griffin’s first child, Reese Ann Griffin, on May 21st, 2015.
Grete Sadeiko is a 23-year-old Estonian heptathlete born in Türi, Estonia. At the 2010 World Junior Championships in Moncton, Canada, she placed fourth with her personal record 5705 points, just one point behind Helga Margrét Thorsteinsdóttir. In the fall of 2012, Grete became a student at Florida State University…majoring in psychology. Sadeiko comes from a family of heptathletes, her oldest sister Grit Šadeiko participated in this year’s 2016 Rio Olympics.
Robert Griffin III , nicknamed RG3, currently plays for the NFL’s Cleveland Browns. He played college football at Baylor, where he won the 2011 Heisman Trophy. He was drafted by the Washington Redskins second overall in the 2012 NFL draft. Griffin won the 2012 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
