Fresh out jail, boxer Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. is back to clowning around and flaunting his mega-millions.
Check out Mayweather’s latest video of him counting 1 million dollars in cash while flying in his private jet called “Air Mayweather” to Miami.
Even though Mayweather likes to showcase his wealth, he also makes a conscience effort to help the poor.
In a recent interview with Fox Sports, Mayweather discussed the subject matter of giving back.
Mayweather said:
“What I do in the ring means nothing if I don’t share my good fortune with the community. My desire to give back is just as strong as my desire to win. It is very important to me to help others and be active in the community, whether in Las Vegas, where I live, or my hometown of Grand Rapids, Mich.
I’ve always been a big supporter of the homeless and hungry because it’s an issue that is near and dear to my heart. It hurts me to see the homeless people and the state of their lives. Because I have been blessed with a gift that has brought me many blessings, including a house to live in and food on the table for my family, I definitely feel a sense of responsibility to give back to this group. The Money Team goes to the store, buys the supplies and then we hand out sandwiches, fruit and drinks to help as many as possible. I hope that when they see me, and not just my team, it will encourage them to do better and get themselves out of that situation.
I really want to make an impact on my community because I feel that people shouldn’t have to live on the streets and struggle to survive, and I’m willing to do whatever I can to help those in need.”
