Meet Atoya Burleson, wife of NFL star Nate Burleson.
Atoya and Nate are college sweethearts who first met while attending college together at the University of Nevada.
Just like her husband Nate, who was a football standout in college, Atoya was a champion track star.
The couple got engaged during Nate’s rookie season with the Minnesota Vikings back in 2003.
They have three children, Nathaniel and Nehemiah and daughter Mia.
Nathaniel Burleson currently plays wide receiver for the NFL’s Detroit Lions. Burleson played college football for the University of Nevada Wolf Pack, and was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the third round of the 2003 NFL Draft. Burleson has also played for the Seattle Seahawks.
