Meet Ilana Nunn Okafor, wife of NBA star Emeka Okafor.
Ilana and Emeka married back in 2012. The couple welcomed their first child, an adorable baby girl, last summer in 2013.
Currently, Ilana Nunn Okafor is the Director of Public Relations at BDA Sports Management. Prior to working at BDA Sports Management, Ilana worked at Russell Simmons’ Phat Farm as a PR Manager. She also worked for the NBA and WNBA in Basketball Communications. Ilana went to college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill,

Emeka OOkafor was the second pick in the 2004 NBA Draft out of the University of Connecticut. He was selected by the expansion Charlotte Bobcats and won the 2005 Rookie of the Year Award.
Okafor was traded to the New Orleans Hornets in 2009. The 6’10” 255 lb. Okafor was traded on June 20, 2012 to the Washington Wizards.
On October 25, 2013, Okafor was traded to the Phoenix Suns.
